Life of Downtown West Chester

Since July of 2020, I have been living in West Chester as I obtain my Masters degree from the local university here. From what I have heard, West Chester was an thriving and beautiful stone covered active town with so much to do and see!

However…when I moved here it was close to the beginning of the global pandemic, which greatly impacted my short time here as I was only staying for two years for my degree. With the world on shut down and anxiety through the roof, West Chester (from my experience) was silent.

The same can not be said anymore, as West Chester and it’s locals are coming back stronger than ever! As in early 2022, this is what the town looks like!
